Decoder Buddys are 21-pin decoder holders. 21-pin decoders are the current state of the art that provide more separate function outputs and generally provide more power for their functions. The Decoder Buddys allow for the use of the functions provided by the 21-pin decoder. They provide 4, 8 and 12 lighting outputs that correspond to the outputs of the 21-pin decoder which in turn can give 8 to 12 separate lighting functions. The V5B and V1B Decoder Buddys meet NMRA Standards. The Decoder Buddy Mini’s size makes it fall out of the NMRA geometry. The Mini does perform all the functions properly.models include:

Power Bridge capacitor units
Power Bridges are stay alives. Stay alives provide power to the decoder and locomotive to keep operating when there is no power available from the track due to dirty track or the frog in a switch. Power Bridge stay alives are unique because they all work with either two or three wire decoders. Power Bridges I and II are generally three wire designs that are easily configured to work with a two-wire decoder. Disconnecting the two wire Power Bridge III is not necessary to program or reprogram the sound file in an ESU decoder. Power Bridges turn out to be very economical.
Light Your Loco with Loco Lights
Loco Lights are scale sized replicas of the standard shade and the associated electrical box, if applicable, used on locomotives and some cabooses. Commonly found as step, ground and high walkway lights.
Resin printed and paintable they include 0402 or 0201 LEDs so that they can be lit. LEDs come in both warm white and cool white.
